License Activation
Able2Extract Professional is distributed as a 7-day trial version so you can evaluate all of its PDF functionalities before you make a purchase.
After purchasing your desired license, you will receive a PIN along with your receipt via email.
By entering this PIN into the trial version you have already installed, the license will be activated.
If you have not previously downloaded & installed a trial version, please do so on our download page.
The full version of Able2Extract Professional gives you indefinite, lifetime access to all features the software program has to offer.
The 30-day license of Able2Extract Professional gives you access to all features the software program has to offer for a 30-day period. After it expires, you will have to purchase a new monthly license or a full license to renew access to all functionalities.
No. After your 30-day license expires, you will have to purchase a new 30-day license or the full version of Able2Extract Professional to use it again.
Links to install Able2Extract are version-specific. You will need the correct link to align with the license PIN for the version you have purchased. If you don't know the link you need to install, please contact Customer Service at cs@investintech.com.
License Usage
Able2Extract desktop licenses are single-user - each person who will be using the software must have their own license. We don't offer multi-user licensing and our desktop software is not licensed on a concurrent user basis. A license can be transferred to a new user if the original user leaves the company, or no longer requires use of the software on a permanent basis (licenses cannot be temporarily reassigned).
You can install Able2Extract on two computers for your own use - so you can install and activate Able2Extract on your desktop and laptop, or at work and at home.
You can install and activate your Able2Extract license on both your Windows and Mac computers.
Yes. We can email you the download link for your version of the software so you can transfer your license to your new computer. Reach out to us at cs@investintech.com.
You can keep using your old Able2Extract Professional forever - a software upgrade is not mandatory. However, note that by using an outdated version of the software you won’t have access to our support teams or any future updates, new features and improvements.
If you’re using an older version of Able2Extract and are not enrolled in our SAP program, you will have to pay a fee for future upgrades. You can upgrade your old Able2Extract Professional to the latest version at our Upgrade Center.
You don’t have to pay for an upgrade to the latest version of Able2Extract Professional if you’re subscribed to our premium support plan - SAP (Software Advantage Plan). As an SAP subscriber, you get free access to all software updates.
The desktop version of Able2Extract can function completely offline. The program does on occasion automatically download additional resources from the server (when doing conversions of PDFs written in some Asian languages for example) but the program can be completely blocked from the internet by a firewall and the software is still functional. All the primary functions of Able2Extract are offline.

All licenses purchased with the Electronic Only (default) option selected will receive a digital download link and a PIN needed to activate the license via email.
If you select the Electronic & CD option, you will be able to download and use the product immediately while waiting for a packaged CD delivery. By choosing this option you will have installation files readily available even if you don’t have internet access - useful when switching machines or operating systems.
You can order as many CDs as licenses bought or order just one CD for multiple licenses. Every CD costs $10. We deliver worldwide.
Regular shipping to the USA and Canada costs additional $10 and delivery time is approximately 1-2 weeks in regular circumstances.
Regular shipping to the rest of the world costs additional $20 and delivery time is approximately 2-3 weeks in regular circumstances.

The only subscription-based service we offer is SAP (Software Advantage Plan). It is a premium support plan available through an annual subscription and is completely optional.
It will not renew automatically. To extend the SAP yearly subscription you will need to purchase it again once expired.
